Sailing in the Ionian waters is relaxed and rarely demanding. Wild coastline, small villages and fishing harbours vary with more upbeat and cosmopolitain coastal towns, where you will see superyachts and the occasional celebrity.
Spring starts as early as March and in April the island vegetation is in full bloom, flowers everywhere. Rain showers take turns with warm and sunny days announcing the summer ahead. In summer, life is sweet, with endless sunshine and warm crystal-clear waters, inviting to let your hair down and relax.
Autumn comes late and with the waters still pleasant and many warm sunny days, you can enjoy the off-season until end of November.
There is a multitude of things to do and explore in Corfu and the Ionian, be it sportive activities of all kinds in and on the water, nature walks and hikes or cultural highlights, historical sites, museums and beautiful architecture.
Let’s not forget how welcoming and relaxed the locals are, “filoxeni” (friendly to strangers), warm and often very educated, they are open to different cultures, having seen Venetian, French, English, German and Austrian influences over the centuries.
This also reflects in a delicious and varied cuisine, some typical Greek and some surprising local dishes, strong Italian influences and the modern and highly commendable Greek “fusion” cuisine.

On the islands surrounding Corfu as well as on the mainland there are several known attractions and a few less known as well. When you sail with us, we strive to go to places that are less crowded by ways of timing and local knowledge. We offer charters starting on Saturdays and Wednesdays – be creative and get the best out of your experience!
Go against the rhythm of Saturday to Saturday cruises by framing the sailing with a few days before or after your trip in one of the beautiful villas or boutique hotels, we’re happy to help with recommendations. Or try off season sailing at attractive prices. The spring offers a lovely climate and great sailing combined for example with hiking or cycling. The late summer and fall is a combination of warm weather and water with less crowds! Drum your own rhythm and “sail outside the box”!

Around Corfu
Agios Georgios
A large sweeping sandy cove, the only place to anchor for the night for larger yachts on the West coast of Corfu, weather permitting. A few excellent fish tavernas, good swimming and hiking opportunities can be found here.
Agni
Agni Bay is an unspoiled shingle and sand beach on the north east of Corfu. There are three tavernas, each served by it’s own jetty and each one serving food and drink throughout the day. No water sports ruin the tranquil atmosphere, a great place to chill.
Kalami
Despite its fame as the setting for the Durrell Series, Kalami still continues to maintain a sense of peace and beauty with Its unique rock formations, evergreen olive groves that touch the sea and the sapphire blue waters of the Ionian Sea
Kassiopi
A charming harbour town on the North-East coast of Corfu with a large choice of taverns and restaurants. A Jupiter Temple once stood at the spot where today’s Panagia Kassiopitra church, dating back to 1590 and containing impressive fresco remains, now stands. You will also see the ruins of the Byzantine castle that used to protect the town and its port and was guarding the sea route from Corfu to the opposite coast.
Nissaki
A pretty little bay with crystal clear waters backed by steep hills; a tiny harbour with a picturesque taverna and a diving school
Paleokastritsa
Paleokastritsa enjoys a spectacular setting on six small-enclosed bays with crystal turquoise water. A monastery stands on a steep hill full of wild trees and olive trees facing the deep blue sea offering amazing views from both the monastery and the hills above. Clearly this is one of the most famous landmarks of Corfu
Porto Timoni (Afionas)
A narrow strip of land separates two of the most beautiful beaches in Corfu. The water is crystal clear. Each of the two pebbled beaches has a different temperature. The spectacular sunsets make it well worth staying up late.

Antipaxos is a tiny little island with turquoise waters and is completely unspoilt. No shops, no real roads, only a couple of tavernas and just a few houses with friendly locals

Green and mountainous Othonoi, where Ulysses was said to have been the nymph Calypso’s captive for seven years. Suitable for diving and hiking and with beautiful beaches accessible only by boat.
