Deposit & Refunds
Deposit: 50% of down payment upon booking confirmation; 50% balance payment 4 weeks prior to embarkation date.
Security deposit is mandatory even if skipper is hired at extra cost.
In the event of cancellation of a charter by the Charterer, all advance payments made up to the date of cancellation will be retained by the Owner.
In that case the charterer can charter the boat for a different period, if there is availability .If the period he is interested in is more expensive, then the difference must be paid.
In the event that the Charterer should elect to terminate the charter and deliver the yacht prior to the date designated in this Agreement, the owner shall not be liable to the return of any proportional part of hire money. (Clause 11 of charter agreement)
Check-in / Check out
Charters begin at 17:00 and end at 09:00 hours (with mandatory return to the base the evening before at 18:00 the latest).
